• What are the limitations to consider when planning to import bulk records of Employee Information and Foundation Objects from an External System into Employee Central?
• Is there a limit for file size or number of records per batch of CSV file?

• Please review and configure the recommended settings as per the Mass Changes in Employee Central handbook page: Configuring Data Import Settings
• For person based entities, the maximum number of records supported by Employee Central Imports is 30,000. If your import file has more than 30,000 records, we recommend that you distribute the data into multiple files and upload each file separately.
• For employment based entities: 
  The maximum number of records supported by Employee Central Imports is 30,000 without Business Rules execution.
  If there are large number of Business Rules configured or if there are Cross-portlet Business Rules then, distribute the data into multiple files each having 10,000 records and upload each file separately.
