2550917 - Customized Pay Type Values Not Appearing in SF Employee Central

The Customized Pay Type value isn't appearing in the dropdown

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Payment Information

• Customized Pay Type is country/region-specific
• The user may belong to a Job Country (based on the Country field value in Legal Entity) other than what is already associated with the Custom Pay Type value

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Data
2. Search for Customized Pay Type on left-hand side drop-down
3. Search for the particular Customized Pay Type value (for example, Main Pay Type)
4. Take Action > Make Correction
5. Add the missing country in the section "Customized Pay Type Assignment"
6. Save
7. Now the Customized Pay Type will appear for the employee who belongs to the country that was added above

Note: If no country is selected for a Customized Pay Type value, it will not be available for any user.
The association of Customized Pay Type and Customized Pay Type Assignment is of type composite, country field is configured under customized pay type assignment object. This makes the association values necessary. Therefore, maintain countries/regions under Customized Pay Type.

If the customized pay type is not appearing in the UI for adding it to end-user's payment information record, then make sure to check the Payment Information Configuration screen via > Manage Configuration UI.

1. Update the configuration UI/screen ID that you are using, can be checked in configure people profile payment information block.
2. Add custom field in the Payment Information Details section.
3. Make the field resolver type and select Customized Pay type field from dropdown, give field label a name and make it mandatory (if using this as main type).
   
4. You can now make the standard payment method field not visible however, you should not delete it from the UI.
