2541423 - Blank/Empty Error Message on Save of a Portlet

You have received a blank or empty error message on save of an EC portlet, such as Personal Information or Job Information:

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

This issue is caused by one of the following:

• Invalid Picklist Configuration - Adding an picklist to a standard picklist field.
  A standard picklist field is a field which displays drop down values without adding an external picklist.
  Example:  Gender field: No need to add an external picklist to gender field.By default this field will display values.
  
  
• Obsolete Picklist Value - A field in the portlet having an obsolete value maintained.
  The value that was selected for a field in the portlet, has since been set to Obsolete in the picklist file.

Highlight the field causing the error and correct configuration or value selection.
