2537796 - Contingent Workforce: Are Custom MDF portlets and blocks supported for Contingent Workers?

Unable to view configured custom MDF portlets/blocks in People Profile for Contingent Workers. These custom MDF blocks are not available/visible, even though correct permissions have been granted to the end user.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Contingent Workforce
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - People Profile (PP3)

1. Configure a custom MDF portlet (block) in People Profile for all users.
2. Navigate to a Contingent Worker user in People Profile
3. You do not see the custom MDF portlet (block) for the Contingent Worker in People Profile, even though all required permissions and targets have been granted/defined.

Up to b1808:

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Contingent Workforce feature currently does not support custom MDF portlets/blocks.

The current list of blocks and sections are hard-coded for Contingent Workers and cannot be modified.

After b1811:

It is now possible to set up Custom Portlets for Contingent Workers.

As of the b1811 release, it will be possible to set up Custom Portlets for Contingent Workers. Please check the Contingent Workforce Management handbook for more information.
