2533406 - Candidate Profile sm-mapped fields permission via RBP

In the past, when Role Based Permissions (RBP) was enabled, Employee Profile checked RBP, whereas Candidate Profile checked Succession Data Model (SDM) to determine read/write permissions.

SuccessFactors BizX - Recruiting Management (RCM)

If RBP is enabled, Candidate Profile fields which are synchronized to Employee Profile (sm-mapped) will follow the RBP permissions instead of Succession Data Model permissions

This will resolve inconsistency between Employee Profile and Candidate Profile for the fields that get synchronized:

If needed, Opt-out is possible via Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings.  Checkbox “Revert to using Succession Data Model for permissions for sm-mapped fields”.
* Note: Visibility of candidate during ‘Candidate Search’ is still determined via SDM
