2503392 - How to remove Career Site Builder images from the Image Selector – Recruiting Marketing

This article describes the procedure to remove images previously added to the CSB Image Selector.

When working with Career Site Builder image components such as “Image and Text Carousel”, “Image Carousel” and “Large Image”, users are required to add the images to a box called Image Selector and pick the desired file from there. In this page, will be displayed all the images there were once used/uploaded into the tool.

On the right hand side of every image displayed on the Selector, there is an “Archived” checkbox to the checked whenever the user concludes that a file is no longer required and thus should not be displayed on the list. These files can be seen once again by clicking the “Show Archived” button.

Note there is no way to remove files from the Archived List and therefore hard delete them from the tool and the Content Delivery Network where they are hosted.

This was put in place to allow more flexibility as to reusing content without having to reupload it if the user changes their mind but also to avoid situations where items were deleted from the configuration while they were still in use on the site which caused issues with the code and caused the site to crash.

Archiving the images means they will be “removed” from the user UI without the possibility of affecting the client system in any negative way.
