2500563 - Key Figure Groups in Customized Data Sources

When you create a customized data source, it is not possible to include any key figure groups that are available in reports based on the basic data sources.

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics, view Design Data Sources.
2. Click on New and select the required data source type.
3. Click on Add Data Source and select the required data source from the list.

You will now get a list of available fields to select for your new data source. In the key figures, no key figure groups are listed.

Key figure groups generally cannot be reused for customized data sources. This is because they have a 1:1 relationship with the data source and report they are part of, and they are technically linked to them. If you remove the report and data source as a context, the key figure groups cannot work. For this reason, they are not available for selection when you create a new data source.

This is the correct behaviour. In order to check which elements are available to be reused, please open a Preview of the data source you would like to use.
