2487085 - Label missing for the "+" symbol in Hire/Rehire screens for Payment Information Portlet

When performing a Hire/Rehire action via any of the Hire/Rehire wizards, there is no label next to the "+" symbol to Add Payment Information

• Instance must be using People Profile (PP3)

Navigate to Admin Center > Add New Employee (or Rehire Inactive Employee / Manage Pending Hires). Complete a new Hire up until the Compensation Information step. Then see the + icon to add Payment Information - but there is no text :

This is expected behaviour. The label is to be customized/configured manually.

There may also be an issue with the + icon not appearing at all.

• Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Configuration UI
• Select the UI which you have configured to use in People Profile (you can find out which UI by navigating to Admin Center > Configure people Profile > select the "Live Profile MDF Block" you have configured for Payment Information, and see which Screen has been selected)
• Then hover the mouse over the section of the UI template which refers to the Composite Child object (PaymentInformationDetailsV3) and click on "Edit Properties" -:

 

• Set the desired label for the action in the field "Title Type User Defined" and then click on OK (NOTE: You do not need to add the text "Add" as the UI will add this automatically in PP3 Hire UI's)

 

• Then Save the UI
• Navigate to Admin Center > Add New Employee wizard and progress through the wizard to the last step, and you will there see the label text you defined

Note: In the control section of the properties, there is a section called add new record. If this is marked as no, then the plus icon will not appear.

Note: If you did add the text "Add" in your label, then in the Hire wizard the text will display the word "Add" twice, as the UI will set the word "Add" as part of the label. So, if in your label you write "Add Payment Information Details" then in the UI you will see "Add Add Payment Information Details". Please do not include the word "Add" in the label
