2458786 - Error: "Technical error RPMF_MESSAGE 13" when Production Model is released for Planning and Execution.

When checking the consistency of the production model it shows that the model is consistent, but when we try to release the production model for Planning and Execution system displays the below error messages:*DEF refers to Production Model

Creation of released planning model not possible;
 -----> Create RPMs (number 1);
 -----> Technical error RPMF_MESSAGE 13; Report an case;
 -----> Technical error RPPM 063; Report an case
 -----> Save Failed

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Planning and Production Master Data Work Center.
2. Navigate to Production Models View.
3. Select the Production Model ID DEF and choose the Edit button.
4. Select the Check Consistency button, system shows that the production model is consistent.
5. Now select the Release Production Model button and choose the option Planning and Execution.

        The system displays the mentioned error messages:

           Creation of released planning model not possible;
 -----> Create RPMs (number 1);
 -----> Technical error RPMF_MESSAGE 13; Report an case;
 -----> Technical error RPPM 063; Report an case
 -----> Save Failed

The error is due to incomplete data maintained in the Production Model. In this case, Quantity and Unit of Measure for a By-product is not maintained.

The error should be fixed once we provide the Quantity and Unit of Measure for the By-Products in the production Model.

1. Go to Planning and Production Master data Work Center.
2. Go to Production Models View.
3. Search and open Production Model DEF.
4. Select Edit.
5. Navigate to Bill of Operations tab.
6. Navigate to sub tab Product Assignment.
7. Find for a By-Product in any of the Produce Activity and select the activity.
8. Navigate to tab By-Products
9. Maintain the Quantity and Unit of Measure for the By-Products.
