2431933 - MDF Object Definition is disabled in Instance Sync due to version mismatch

• MDF Object Definition is not clickable / disabled in Instance Sync, even though the user has necessary permission;
• Instance Synchronization fails with error about the object definitions and their properties.

3. Select the company ID

We do not support sync of object definition from for example b1807 to b1811. (two different versions). The reason is that there are changes and enhancements in the back end on the new release (b1811 on this example) which are incompatible with the older release (source).

As a workaround, customers can perform Export and Import of Object Definition manually. But there is no certainty that Import will go smooth.

Import will fail if there is data related to any of the incompatible Object or it's properties in the new release. (Target)
