2409838 - How to default Probation Period End Date in the Add New Employee Wizard

How can we default the Probation Period End Date in the Add New Employee Wizard?

This can be done using a Business Rule.

For the rule to work successfully we suggest creating the business rule with the "Employee Information Model" Base Object.

An example of a simple rule which sets the Probation Period End date to 6 months after the Hire Date can be seen below:

This is an always true rule and should be triggered on the Job Information HRIS Element as an "onInit" event type.

This rule will then trigger onInit on the Job Information page of the Add New Employee Wizard.
