2399192 - Dashboards 2.0 does not respect Tile filter

• Filter or dataset pre-selected for the Tile upon setup is not followed when running the Dashboard
• Tile-based dashboard applies filter settings for all tiles even though each tile has been configured to run for specific filters

The filters/dataset parameters work on a dashboard level and not on a tile level.  So it is currently not possible to have one tile pull only data for a certain template or filter value, it will follow the dashboard selection.  The user would have to re-select the dataset filters again or choose only one at a time.  It is currently an expected behavior.

Workaround:  An alternative would be to make the individual tiles available in the Home Page and not on a Dashboard.  This way, the dataset or selection selection will be per individual tile.

The dashboards filter working on a tile-level is an enhancement request.  It appears that this idea is already being considered, please see the following post over at the SAP Influence site:
