2394095 - How to self-enroll into a Class?

Symptom

This KBA covers the step by step process on how a user can self-enroll into a class

Environment

Resolution

  1.  Before a user can enroll himself in a class, Self Registration must be set to Yes on the class record >

  2. Make sure that the item is available on a Library the user has access to >
  3. The user can then search the item at the Library >

  4. And see the available classes >

  5. Upon clicking on the required class date, the user will see more details and can Register in the class >

  6. Once the registration is confirmed, the item should be displayed in the user's Learning Plan as ENROLLED >

  7.  Once enrolled, admin can confirm the registration on the class record > Registrations tab:

Important Notes:

  • Users cannot self-enroll into Items / Classes unless the Item and Class belong to a Library that the user has access to. Please note Classes can only be added to Libraries that the Item belongs to.
  • This includes Direct Links to the Classes: the user will not be able to access it in order to self-enroll if the class is not part of a library the user can access
