• How to make the "Email Candidate"(or "Contact Candidate") button in a candidate's application visible to some of the Recruiting Operators?
• Is it possible to restrict the operators that can contact candidates through their job application?

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Recruiting
2. In the candidate summary for any requisition, view the details for any candidate
3. The candidate application will have the Email (or Contact Candidate) button

This can be done, and is configured as part of the Job Requisition XML template.

The instructions to configure this are detailed in this page of the Recruiting Implementation Guide: Job Requisition Element: Candidate Email Permission.

Once you add this element to the requisition template, you will be able to set up the roles who should be able to see the Email button in the candidate application.
