2385477 - Field value not getting saved in MDF UI on Save

When saving data for a field in the User Interface for an MDF Object,  For example: Payment information object in the Personal Information Page's Payment Information portlet, the field's value is getting wipped off after Save.

The field in the 'Manage Configuration UI' of that object might be 'user defined' type and hence not mapped to any object definition field (resolver type) / database field.

 

In the Manage Configuration UI tool, for the object configuration UI, edit the 'Value Type' field of the UI to Resolver, and select 'Value Type Resolver' from drop down to associate it with object definition's field so that it can save data.

NOTE: This is also applicable to the Contingent worker UI and the Global benefits UI.
