Symptom
When forwarding a Candidate to a Job Requisition and does not select any filter criteria for the Job Requisitions, a random number of results appear given a certain filter criteria, despite having more active Job Requisitions available.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All versions
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Recruiting and click on Candidates.
- Search for any candidate and click on the "Forward to Requisitions" button at the bottom of the page.
- Do not select any filter criteria and click on 'Search'.
- Only 25 results are displayed even though there are many other active requisitions in the system.
Cause
The system is behaving according to the current design. In case the filters are not set to restrict the results and "Any Filter" option is selected for the different fields, then the system will sort all the job requisitions in the system in a given order.
Resolution
To make the most of this functionality, you should perform a search with more refined criteria to optimize the resulting list of job requisitions and also relay on the Column "Relevance" as it will display requisitions based on the given filters and form content.
With the new Redesigned Applicant Management in the Job Application Workbench, the search results will display all active Job Requisitions.
