2373779 - Changing read and write permissions for dimension members are not being applied on Story level in SAP Analytics Cloud

A user who has modified a public version (for example public.Actual / Actual) is not able to see dimension members, which has just been granted in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Login with Admin user.
1. Open one of the models.
2. Open one of the dimensions and enable data access control.
3. Grant Read and Write permission to one of the dimension members.
   
4. Save the Model.
5. Log out with the Admin user.
   
   
2. Log in with the End-user.
1. Create a Story, based on the modified model above.
2. Modify the public version and notice that the TYPE has changed from "public" to "private".
         
3. Save the Story.
4. Log out with the End-user.
   
   
3. Log in with the Admin user again.
1. Go to the same Model and Dimension.
2. Grant Read and Write access to another dimension member to the End-user.
   
3. Save the Model
4. Log out with the admin user.
   
   
4. Log in with the End-user.
1. Go to the previously Created Story.
2. Notice that the changes are not being applied. The new dimension member is not visible.

• Once the public version has been modified, it will behave as a private version.

• The behavior is By Design
• The end-user should "Revert changes to the public version" OR "Publish and Update Existing Version" to see the newly granted dimension members (i.e. USA).
1. Revert changes to the public version
• The changes will not be applied
