2369569 - Managers cannot view Time Records on PP3 Time Off Admin Workbench

When accessing the Time Off Admin Workbench, managers and hr admins are no longer able to see the Time Records of their reports.

Employee Central, Time Off

1. Navigate to the Time Off section of the PP3 Employee File UI
2. Click on Admin Workbench
3. Time Records should display the leave request history of the user, but they appear blank

You must grant your managers and hr-admins Access to non-secured objects (previously known as ‘Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework’).

Please also check the Security setting on the Employee Time (as well as the country specific employee time objects, for example EmployeeTimeDEU,EmployeeTimeESP etc.) and Time Type objects.

If these are set to Secured, the users must be given at least the View permission to see the time records.

2. Manage Permission Roles
3. Admin Permissions
4. MetaData Framework
5. Grant Role Access to non-secured objects (previously known as ‘Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework’)

If this does not solve the issue, please also check the Security setting on the Employee Time (as well as the country specific employee time objects, for example EmployeeTimeDEU,EmployeeTimeESP etc.) and Time Type objects.

If these are set to Secured, the users must be given at least the View permission to see the time records.

1. Navigate to Configure Object Definition > Employee Time / Time Type
2. Check the Secured Field and Permission Category:

3.  Go to Manage Permission Roles > Miscellaneous Permissions > Find the associated Object (EmployeeTime / TimeType) and select at least the View permission.
