2354147 - Purchasing Contracts status set to Closed

You have created a purchasing contract and when you check the changes tab you see that the status changed from Released to Closed by SAP_SYSTEM  or by a User.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sourcing and Contracting work center
2. Go to the Contracts view
3. Select Closed Contracts
4. You will see Contracts that are closed

If you have scoped the question"Do you want automatic notification of expiring purchasing contracts?" and contract is expired then system will raise a BTM task for user saying contract has expired so that User can see the task and decide if they want to extend the contract or close it manually.

If you have scoped the question"Do you want automatic closure of expired purchasing contract?" and contract is expired then a back ground job will run every day  once midnight in general and contract will be closed automatically.(we cannot extend the frequency of the run more than once a day)

Above two methods are available currently in standard system to close the contract.

but if you want contract to be closed as soon as its expired and you don't want to  close manually or wait for system to run the job then, kindly contact your partners to help achieve it.
