2344697 - Rewards & Recognition - Miscellaneous Permissions empty

When setting up the Off-Cycle rewards permissions in RBP and trying to enable the access to Spot Award, Spot Award Budget and Spot Award Program these permissions are not visible in Miscellaneous Permissions.

How can this be corrected?

You will need to change the security settings for these objects at EC level. For that go to Admin Center> Configure Object Definitions.

Search by Object Definition and for each of the following objects:

• Spot Award
• Spot Award Budget
• Spot Award Program 

For each of them, click on "Take Action" so you can edit the object(s).

Scroll down to the "Security" section and set the "Permission category" to "Miscellaneous Permissions".

After this has been done, confirm these permissions are now showing up correctly within RBP.

Common issues

Managers are unable to nominate employees for a spot award

Please ensure the above has been defined for the objects and the manager has "view" and "edit" permissions in RBP for "Spot Award" under "Miscellaneous  Permissions".

When selecting a program from Admin Center the page continously loads without error.

Ensure you have miscellaneous permissions selected within the objects as outlined above. Should this be defined already and the program continues to load, you can do the following.

• In Admin Center and go to Manage Data via the tool search.
• Search for "Spot Award Program" and select the problem program.
• Select "Take Action" and make a change to save the program. We suggest adding a space somewhere like categories, tab out of the column to prompt the save buttonto populate, go back to the column to remove the space and then save.

This should correct the issue within Admin Center when selecting the program. If not and this continues please contact support.
