In the Route Form tool, the search can be used to find and route individual forms or a group of forms with the same template which were launched together.

Using the "Upload CSV File" option allows admins to bulk route unrelated forms including forms across multiple form templates.

How to Mass Route using .CSV file:

1. If you are using this tool for the first time, choose Download Template to download the CSV file template. The CSV file consists of a single coulmn with a Form ID header. Enter the document IDs and save the file.

2. In Admin Center, go to Route Form. Admin Center > Manage Forms by User > Route Form

3. On the Search for Forms tab, Search By Form ID, and choose Upload CSV File. as shown in the following screenshot,

4. Choose Choose File, and select the CSV file that contains the form IDs of the forms to be routed, and choose Upload. The corresponding forms are displayed.

5. Select the forms you want to route and choose Next.

• You can select all the listed forms from across the pages by selecting Select all <n> documents in search results, or select all the forms on the current page by selecting the Form ID checkbox.

6. On the Select an Action page, select a route option:

• Move the form one step forward
• Move the form one step back
• Move the form to completion

• Select a Reason for changes and choose Next.

7. The summary page displays information about routed forms.

Important Notes:

1. There is no higher limit set in the number of forms to be routed, but as a general recommendation, you should limit the payload to no more than 50,000 records in a single upload to avoid issues.
2. Forms will be processed immediately when routing fewer than 300 forms, if more than 300 form IDs are included, a scheduled job will be created and a link to Scheduled Job Manager is provided
3. Currently you cannot mass-route forms to a specific step, only one step forward, one step back, or to completion
4. The .csv file format includes a single column for Form ID. Form IDs can come from different templates.
5. When using the "Upload CSV File" option, the system will not reevaluate the route map users, if a step owner is invalid the form may fail to route. In such cases, it may be possible to route the forms individually using Route Form "Move the form to a specific step"
