Old offer approvals are showing in to do list on the homepage and cannot be removed.

1. Go to home page - navigate to overdue items in to do list.
2. See old offer approvals that you cannot cancel when you click into them.

The first thing to do is to check if the job requisition is open or closed. If the job requisition is open then it is an expected behavior that rejected offer approvals are still showing in the to-do tile. For more information on this scenario, check article 2599019 . The reason you cannot cancel the offer is because the applicant has been moved to a status outside of offer. The rejected offer will then show as overdue in the to-do tile of the originator of the offer approval (who initiated the offer). It will appear there until the job requisition is closed or until a new offer has been made to the applicant. Note that the applicant will have to be moved back to the offer stage of the pipeline in order to send a new offer for approval.

If the job requisition is closed and the offer is still pending on the todo list, it can be a system issue. In the past, we had a defect in the system that caused many offers and other job requisitions related items to be hanging on the todo list. In order to provide a way for the user to get rid off these items, our product management team introduce a routine in the system that checks for every item linked to the job requisition and automatically delete it from the todo list when you close the job req. If you are still seeing pending items, you can just reopen the source job requisition for the items, save and close it again to remove the pending items.
