How can the IP address of an SAP SuccessFactors Learning environment be found?

In case you do not have access to Command Prompt on a Windows computer, please contact your local IT team to assist. There are also websites that can pull this information as well.

You will need your SuccessFactors Learning URL which can be seen when accessing the Learning User or Learning Admin side through the SuccessFactors HXM Suite.

1. Go to Command Prompt
2. Type the following e.g. ping <companyID>.lms.hr.cloud.sap into the command line
   
3. Press Enter

• If the instance is Akamai enabled then you will be able to see below screenshot with "akamaiedge" in the result section. Akamai is a content delivery network to deliver the best experience to the end user. If a user in Asia pings the Learning URL, they will receive a different IP address than a user in South America.

• Below is an example if the Learning environment does not have Akamai enabled. All Learning environments have Akamai enabled as a service for better end user experience.

Note: If the IP address of the Learning environment is required to be placed on your company allowlist, please use the domain name (e.g. *.lms.hr.cloud.sap).
