2292809 - Jobs are not posting or unposting using Real Time Job Sync - Recruiting Marketing

1. External Job is posted in Recruiting Management (RCM) but is not appearing in Recruiting Marketing (RMK). If you access the job posting link, it redirects you to the home page.
2. External Job is posted in Recruiting Management (RCM) and the job posting link is also accessible, but is not appearing in search results in Recruiting Marketing (RMK).
3. External Job has been unposted in Recruiting Management (RCM) but is still appearing in search results in Recruiting Marketing (RMK). If you access it there might be a message such as: "Sorry, This position has been filled."

1. A possible cause is that the job has not yet been imported to RMK. (should take a few minutes - see 'Max Wait Time' below)
2. A possible cause is that the job has not yet been unposted from RMK. Meaning that RMK will still have an entry, but when candidate tries to apply and is taken back to RCM, the job is not available anymore, and the error message is a system default message

1. Recruiting Marketing Job Field Mapping
   

   Ensure that the mapping between the Recruiting Management and Recruiting Marketing fields is not incomplete or wrong.

2. "Sync all External Job Postings" Scheduled job on Provisioning - PARTNERS ONLY
   

   Ensure that the scheduled job "Sync all External Job Postings" is set up properly by following the instructions below:

   • Make sure the job has a valid Job Owner.
   • Make sure the job runs daily and only once per day. A fullfeed that runs more than once per day can cause many problems with the integration between RCM and RMK.
   • Make sure the job runs during a period of low activity on the system. The recommendation is set the job to run at night.
     
     
3. Make sure there are no leading of trailing spaces added to the Company ID in CSB under Site Settings/Site Configuration/Site Integration as this will cause the imports to fail.

Max Wait Time:

• How long it takes for a job description page (job posting link) to become accessible?

Jobs posted externally in RCM (“Corporate Posting” on the Job Postings page) are sent to RMK in near-real time. Usually this process happens in under a minute, but depending on the time of day, it can take up to 30 minutes for a job to post in RMK.

• How long it takes for a job to appear in search results?

The search indexing is happening every 15 minutes so it can be 15 minutes or less depends when the 15 minutes period started and the job got posted.
