SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

I. Use Configuration Center

1. Set up the connection between instances: Using the Configuration Center - Pairing the Source Tenant with the Target Tenant
2. Create a configuration bundle: Using the Configuration Center - Creating New Configuration Bundle using Configuration Center
3. Review available Performance Management Feature Group configurations that can be transported: Using the Configuration Center - SAP SuccessFactors Products Supported in Configuration Center
4. Add Performance Management configurations to the bundle: Using the Configuration Center - Adding Configurations to the Bundle using Configuration Center
5. Transport the data from the source tenant to the target tenant: Using the Configuration Center - Exporting SAP SuccessFactors Application Configurations Using Configuration Center
6. Validate the file in the target tenant: Using the Configuration Center - Validating the Configurations Received by a Tenant Using Configuration Center

II. Manually Download/Import Performance Form Templates

1. Login to the source tenant and download the performance form template:
1. Go to Admin Center > Performance Management > Form Template Settings
2. Select the form template
3. Download Form Template
4. Open the zip file saved to desktop and extract the .xml inside to your desktop
2. Ensure the following are already configured in the target tenant before loading the performance form template:
1. Route Map associated with the template
2. Rating Scale associated with the template
3. Ensure the route map Step IDs match the Step IDs from the source instance
3. Login to the target instance and upload the performance form template:
1. Go to Admin Center > Performance Management > Form Template Settings
2. Upload New Form...
3. Populate a Template Name (MUST be unique) > Select Browse... > Select the XML file from your desktop > Upload Form Template
4. Populate Form Template Settings from source tenant:
1. Navigate to Admin Center > Performance Management > Form Template Settings
2. Select the form template
3. Populate the following:
1. Routing Map
2. All settings from the source tenant
4. Select Update Form Template at the bottom to save the changes
5. Review form template additional items:
1. Navigate to Admin Center > Performance Management > Manage Templates
2. Performance tab > select performance form template
3. Double check the following:
1. Double check that all sections related to other modules are tied to the correct plans (Goal plans, development goal plans, learning, etc.)
2. Ensuring all hard-coded competencies or other competencies are correct
6. Thoroughly test the performance form from start to finish
