Environment

  •  Employee Central - All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to an employee's Job Information
  2. Select Take Action > Terminate

Resolution

If a user has been unintentionally terminated the best way to remove all reference to the Termination in both Job History and Termination Details is to fully purge import the Users Job History without the termination record.

Though this is achievable via deletion from Job Information, but this may cause data inconsistency issue, so please follow the best practice to do the data correction.

See KBA - 2317955 - Correct or Remove Job Information record via Import in Full Purge mode

Alternatively you can just rehire the user.

Note: this is the recommended way to remove all reference to the Termination from the user's Profile.
