2237733 - How to Upload a Background Image in People Profile - SuccessFactors Employee Profile

How to upload or edit a background image in a user's profile while using the upload image feature within the People Profile module.

To upload an background image, the user need to follow the steps below to have permission to Edit Background Image.

1. Access Admin Center > Manage Permission Role
2. Click on the appropriate Role to be changed as below:

3. Click on Permission... then select Employee Data. Ensure the Permissions for Photo are Unchecked:

4. Then go on Configure People Profile and click on General Settings
5. Ensure the "Allow employees to edit background image" is checked:

6. Then access: Home > (My Employee File / My Associate File) > Click on "Header" tab > Edit Backgorund Image:

7. Make sure the image is 2MB maximum while uploading the background image and the dimensions of the image match the specifications of 980 (px) x 580 (px):

8. While uploading the background image for the first time, find two options i.e. Upload an Image or Choose from Image Gallery (by default available in the instance) to select the background image to be uploaded.
9. If the background image uploaded needs to be changed, notice a new option as delete picture or drag and drop the new image before clicking Save.
10. In this section there in an option to Zoom In & Out the image:
