2217327 - Modifying the Rounding Value for Currencies not Possible

You are trying to edit Currencies from Fine Tuning activity to modify the rounding values for currencies. However, you have observed that there is no option to edit currencies and therefore the Rounding Value.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Click Open Activity List.
4. Open the Activity: Currencies.

Here you are trying to modify the Rounding Value for Currency AAA - however, you have observed that there is no option to edit Decimals and/or to modify the Rounding Value.

AAA means the Currency Code.

In SAP Business ByDesign, currencies are standardized according to ISO code list 4217. This level of standardization is technically necessary to support the data exchange between different On-Demand Solutions.

This system behavior is as designed. The possibility to change the decimals for currencies Swiss Francs (CHF), Indian Rupee (INR) and New Taiwan Dollar (TWD) represent exceptions from the described system definition.
