2184893 - Project task ABC not valid for customer XYZ

When you try to assign project to a sales order system throws the below error message.

Project task ABC not valid for customer XYZ(where ABC is task ID and XYZ is customer name).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sales Orders Work Center.
2. Choose Sales Orders view
3. Choose Sales Order.
4. Choose Edit button.
5. Go to the Items tab here under Project task drop down field find the project ABC you will not be able to see the Project ABC, when you enter manually the system throws an error message and the project will not be saved.

If the customer project and the sales order are assigned  to two different customers, then the system will not allow you to assign the customer project to sales order which doesn't  belongs to the same customer.

Please search and assign project tasks's of same customer.
