2149126 - Increasing the max length of text fields in Employee Profile

Is it possible to change the text fields on employee profile portlets to become text areas rather than a standard text field, so we can increase the amount of characters that can be included in those fields?

This enhancement is available for Background Element Portlets, and would allow users to visualize a larger box to type their texts. To enable it, follow:

1. Go to: Manage Business Configuration
2. Click: Employee Profile
3. Click: Background Elements
4. Click in the target Background Element
5. Click in Details the target field
6. Field Text Area Enabled, set: Yes
7. Save
