2144352 - No Tax Return Type Available For Selection in Tax Return Arrangements of Tax Authority.

You have created a tax authority for country XYZ. You  have entered all the country specific information in the master data. When maintaining the tax return arrangements it is not possible to select the tax return types of country XYZ. In the Tax return Type column the selection value help displays "No items found".

(XYZ represents the Country)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. In the Tax Management workcenter navigate to the Tax Authorities view.
2. Select the tax authority of country XYZ and press Edit - Company Tax Arrangements.
3. In this tab ensure that in the top table the relevant company and validity is entered.
4. In the Tax Return Arrangements subtab press Add Row.
5. In the first column enter the desired tax return arrangement ID.
6. In the Tax Return Type column there is no tax return type available. Instead, "No items found" is displayed.

If there is a localized version of the SAP Business ByDesign solution available for country XYZ its country specific tax return types are available, provided country XYZ has been added to your solution.
If there is no localized version of the SAP Business ByDesign solution available for country XYZ its country specific tax return types are not available.

If there is a localized version for country XYZ available you need to add it to your solution profile:

1. In the Business Configuration workcenter navigate to the Implementation Projects view.
2. Press Edit Project Scope.
3. In Step 1 - Country and Type of Business you can see all the countries currently selected in your solution. You notice that country XYZ does not appear here.
4. Click on the Edit Countries link.
5. Select country XYZ in the Available Countries table and move it over to the Selected Countries table.
6. Press Next until Step 5- Review and then press Finish to confirm. Automatically all basic financial settings will be saved for country X.
7. Therefore, the tax return types of country XYZ will now be available as well.

If there is no localized version for country XYZ available you need to send an case to Support and request to make the country specific tax return types available in the Company Tax Arrangements of the country XYZ's tax authority.

Note:

For countries that are either not supported by the system or are not included in the scope of your business solution, the system selects all open tax items of the country of the tax authority during the tax return runs for generic tax returns. Tax return types for generic tax returns are only provided for certain countries.
