• This Article describes what to do when you receive the Error “You don't have permissions to report on this user. Please try another username” for the Executive review team view report even if you have full Detailed Reporting Privileges

• Compensation

• A user you has Detailed reporting permissions is trying to use the Team view in the Executive Review to Report on team members above his hierarchy but receives the error:  “You don't have permissions to report on this user. Please try another username”

• In the Executive review, In order for the team view to be used to report on users above one’s hierarchy, they will need to have full compensation administrative permissions. Steps to do this would be:

1. Ensure that Executive Review is Enabled via admin tools-> Manage Compensation Executive Review Permission. You may give the user read or write access based on need.
2. Ensure that the user has adequate Detailed reporting permissions via admin tools->Detailed Reporting Privileges
3. Grant the user compensation administrative permissions by going to admin tools->Administrative Privileges.  Search for the User and Check the Checkbox for Compensation Administration and Save

• Once Permission is Granted, the user will no longer See this error
