When trying to open a performance form, receive an error:

The document is currently being locked by another user. Please try again at a later time.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Log in to SuccessFactors
2. Navigate to Home dropdown > Performance
3. Select a performance form
4. Receive error

• The form is in a collaborative step and another user is currently viewing the document
• The form is in a collaborative step and a user viewed the form, but did not click the Save and Close or Close Without Saving buttons

The user with the form can select the Save and Close or Close Without Saving buttons. If the user is no longer in the system and didn't log out, the form will unlock 60 minutes after the user's session times out.
