1970508 - Error Message "You are not authorized to execute report Sales Targets for Incoming Orders (Employee)" while accessing Overview view of Sales Order work centre.

When you try to access the Overview view of Sales Order work centre,

you receive an error message You are not authorized to execute report Sales Targets for Incoming Orders (Employee)".

1. Go to Sales Order Work centre.
2. Select Overview view.

 

The cause for the issue is Sales Targets is not scoped in your system.

Once you scope Business Topic Sales Targets under Business Area Sales, you will not get this error message. To do so,

1. Go to Business Configuration work centre.
2. Navigate to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the concerned Project.
4. Click the Edit Project Scope button.
5. Navigate to Scoping.
6. Expand the Sales business area.
7. Expand the Sales Planning business topic.
8. Check the checkbox for Sales Targets.
9. Navigate to Questions.
10. Expand the Sales business area.
11. Expand the Sales Planning business topic.
12. Select the Sales Targets business topic.
13. Check the question Do you want to measure actual order values based on incoming sales orders?.
14. Click Next and Finish Scoping.
