1944192 - Error Message : You are not authorized to change the data.

While trying to approve or reject the Project time records system throws an error message as You are not authorized to change the data.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Managing My Area work center
2. Choose Confirm Time Recording  view under Common Task.
3. Choose Approve button the system throws an error message as You are not authorized to change the data and the time record will not get approved.

Or

1. Go to Project Management Work Center
2. Choose Approvals view.
3. Choose Time Recordings sub view.
4. Choose Approve button the system throws an error message as You are not authorized to change the data and the time record will not get approved.

User do not have sufficient write access authorization for My Project and My Team work centers to approve the time records. .

1. Go to Application And User Management work center.
2. Choose User and Access Management view.
3. Choose Business users sub view.
4. Choose the User.
5. Choose the Edit and Access Rights button.
6. Go to Access Restrictions tab Unrestricted the Read Access and Write Access to My Team and My Projects work centers.
