1938117 - Wrong Form Template is Picked for Previewing a Business Document

When you preview a particular Business Document (EX: Customer Invoice, Sales Order, Outbound Delivery and so on), the Form Template picked for preview is wrong.

• The rule maintained in the Form Template selection does not match the parameters of the respective document or the sequence of the rules is not correct. 
• You maintained a different Form Template in the Account Master Data.

The Form Template for previewing any document is based on the Form Template Selection rule, the parameters selected and sequence used for the rule.

If you are assigned a rule at the first place but without any selection selection parameter, then this Form template will be picked always inspite of any rules below it.

Hence, In this case, you can move the respective rules to the top of the sequence in order to preview the Business Document.

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Select Form Template Selection.
3. Select the Form Template Group.
4. Here you can create or maintain the Form Template.

Please note that If you maintained a Template in the Account Master Data this will take priority over the rules in the Form Template Selections.

1. Go to the Account Management work center. 
2. Select the Accoutns view. 
3. Open the Respective Account.
4. Navigate to the Communication tab and the Collaborations sub tab.

Here you can maintain a template of your desire for the respective document and it will overrule the form template rules.
