Symptom
- Incorrect date format.
- Date format on the report does not match the user local setting.
- Example: The report shows the date in US format "mm/dd/yyyy" while "UK" selected in the User Preferences. The expected format is "dd/mm/yyyy"

Reproducing the Issue
- In SAP BI Launchpad select "English UK" as User Preferences in Locale.
- Refresh the report in SAP BI LaunchPad, and notice the date is not formatted based on the Locale selected.
Cause
- Date field format was set to use Custom format in the report and "MDY" selected as the format order.
- It designed to display Dates in Specified "Month, Day, Year" order ignoring User Preferences.
Resolution
- Format the date field on the report to use the System Defaulty Shot Format:
- In Crystal Reports, open the report.
- Right click the Date field, and select "Format Field"
- In the "Format Field" window, set the date format to: System Default Short
- Save the report.
