1898128 - In an Invoice Document the Error "Sales data or pricing terms not found for account" is Triggered

When creating a  New Manual Invoice and selecting any account, you receive the error message saying  that Sales data or pricing terms not found for account.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoice work center.
2. Go to Common Tasks
3. Select New manual invoice
4. Click in the View all Button
5. Navigate to the Account and select any Account name.

An error message is triggered :Sales data or pricing terms not found for account

In order to allow the system to automatically find the maintained sales data for an account it is a prerequisite that the sales unit can also be determined automatically.

1. Go to the Organizational Management work center.
2. Select the view  Organizational Work Distribution
3. Navigate to the Business Area: Sales and Marketing
4. Maintain the rules : Sales Unit for Sales and Sales Unit for Manual Invoices.

The sales data will now be determined by the system and the error will not appear.

Alternatively you can manually enter the Sales Unit.

Please note: Even though you enter the Sales Unit manually, that the error message will persist until the buffer is cleared e.g. by clicking button View All or adding a product.
