1812442 - You get an error message in Over-The-Counter Sale transaction "Logistics Area for Location XXX with role Ship From Location has no usage for XYZ sales"

After assigning Ship-From location in Over-The-Counter Sale you get an error message Logistics Area for Location XXX with role Ship From Location has no usage for XYZ sales.

Note: XXX represents name of the location
        XYZ represents name of the Logistic Area.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Over-the-Counter Sale work center.
2. Select the New Over The-Counter Sale in Common Tasks.
3. Assign Employee Responsible, then assign XYZ as Ship-From Location.

Error occurs: Logistics Area for Location XXX with role Ship From Location has no usage for XYZ sales

Note:XXX represents name of the location.
       XYZ represents name of the Logistic Area.

No child location is identified for the Ship-From Location.

1. Go to the Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Select the Locations view.
3. Search for the ID XXX (XXX represents name of the location).
4. Click the Edit Layout button.
5. Click the Add Child Logistics Ares button
6. Navigate to the General tab under Details.
7. Check the checkbox at Inventory-Managed.
8. A table titled Logistics Use appears at the bottom of the screen.
9. Click the Add Row button.
10. Select the Over The Counter Stock option.
11. Click the Change Status button and select the Activate, in order to activate the Logistic Use.
12. Save your changes.
