Cause

The product is assigned to product category 1001 but the Base Price List by Product Category has been created for product category 1000. Multi-level hierarchy structures for product categories is not supported for the price determination. Therefore, the price for the product which has been maintained in the Base Price List by Product Category is not determined by the system in the sales order since the product category of the product is a sub category of the product category for which the price list has been created.

Resolution

You have to create a Base Price List by Product Category with the same product category which has been maintained for the product. The price will the be correctly determined in the sales order by the system.
