1213543 - No prompt to set characters per inch when exporting report to Text format

• exporting a crystal report to text format
• not getting the dialog box to enter the characters per inch
  

1. Open any crystal report
2. Export to text format
3. Dialog box to prompt for Characters per Inch does not prompt

Registry key is set to not prompt.

If you set the  "Do not prompt me again" checkbox, a registry key gets created and set so that the user will not be prompted with this dialog in future text exports. 

In order to reset it to prompt again, you must edit the registry.

This issue was originally tracked as ADAPT00105536 for Crystal Reports 8.5.  

For Crystal Reports 8.5, apply Service Pack 3 or higher.  The version of the text exporting dll (u2ftext.dll) must be 8.5.0.99 or higher.

The following steps apply to Crystal Reports versions 8.5, 9, and 10

Reset registry key to prompt for Characters per Inch:

1. Go to Start -> Run -> regedit
2. Go to the registry key for your version of Crystal Reports.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Decisions\9.0\Crystal Reports\Export\TextExport

1. On the right panel, there should be a registry key "PromptAgain"
2. Edit registry key value and set to 1 (To prompt), 0 (To NOT prompt).
3. Restart Crystal Reports.
