After upgrading to SAP Data Services SP13 or above, the SAP Data Services Designer crashes when validating python code from a User_Defined transform.
In the Windows Event Viewer, the following crash report can be seen:

If you run a job, that contains a User_Defined transform where the python code validation crashes the SAP Data Services Designer, a Bad System Message exception will be raised on execution.
