2829889 - Trust Agent does not work: Error During the Certificate Installation

Symptom

When trying to trust a newly connected diagnostics agent the Trust Agent action fails and the agent remains in the Non-Authenticated Agents tab, in the default trace of SolMan AS JAVA the following exception can be seen:

Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.rmi_p4.exception.NoSuchOperationException: Incorrect Operation: sign(iaik.x509.X509Certificate) in skeleton com.sap.smd.api.util.CertificateAuthorityp4_Skel@254dd0e2.
Reason: incompatible version of stub - method available in stub, but does not exist in skeleton side

  • SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP06 or lower.
  • Diagnostics Agent installed with SMDA720_SP09_0-xxxxxxxxxx.SAR version
