2816129 - Unable to login to Cockpit after upgrade to SAP IQ 16.1 SP04 using TLS

Symptom

  • After upgrading to IQ 16.1 SP04, IQ Cockpit no longer allows connection with TLS.
  • The following error is reported in the agent.log

[ERROR] [security.AuthenticationHook] [RMI TCP Connection(6)-127.0.0.1] - Authentication failed. Please check username and password.
[INFO ] [adapter.UAFLoginCommand] [ui-130] - Authentication failed for user <UserID>: com.sybase.scc.jmx.ISccSession.agnt_auth_fail
