2811949 - The SAP ASE server hung with Several processes with status latch sleep waiting for a latch held by LICENSE HEARTBEAT.

Symptom

The SAP ASE Server hung with several users process with status "latch sleep", and when trying to kill related processes the following message is reported:

"Killing spid: 939 will not be immediate because it is waiting for a latch held by spid: 23."

[2] - Checking SAP ASE errrorlog we have the following:

00:0000:00000:00023:2019/01/01 12:00:00.00 server  Error: 1204, Severity: 17, State: 2
00:0000:00000:00023:2019/01/01 12:00:00.00 server  ASE has run out of LOCKS. Re-run your command when there are fewer active users, or contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role to reconfigure ASE with more LOCKS.
