2804497 - Error 716 accompanied by errors 539 and 871 causes ASE server crash - SAP ASE for Business Suite

Symptom

  • ASE server shuts down abruptly after hitting errors 539, 871, 716 :

Unexpected internal access methods error 0, state 34. Please report to Technical Support the following information: dbid=4, objectid=527207239, curcmd=196, plasterror=716, pstat=0x10100, p2stat=0x60001000, xactid=(221715286, 6).
server Error: 539, Severity: 20, State: 1
A transaction in database 'SID' (spid=992) has hit a fatal error during rollback. ASE will try to reboot and recover the database. The XREC_BEGINXACT of this failing transaction is (221921893, 8).
