Symptom

  • Found in ASE logs "Invalid column length found for column ID"after inserting with ENABLE_BULK_LOAD = ARRAYINSERT_WITH_MIXED_STATEMENTS when using SAP SDK 16 SP03 PL06 (JCONNECT)

Invalid column length 159 found for column, column ID -57, row ID 0, page number 2834690, partition ID 1579255710. The length is greater than the expected maximum column length 4.

  • Please note that this happens with DYNAMIC_PREPARE=true or DYNAMIC_PREPARE=false.
