2781922 - Maintenance user login is really needed in primary MS SQL Server ? - SRS

Symptom

  • Setup from MS SQL Server into SAP Sybase ASE using SAP Replication Server and Rep Agent for MS SQL Server.
  • When this was setup , created maintenance logins on the SQL Server DBMS.
  • Since we are not using replication into MSSQL Server do these accounts still need to exist?
  • What else are these accounts used for in the replication process when only replication from MSSQL Server into Sybase?
