2727233 - Webi report throws "The following database error occurred: (CS) "DBDriver failed to load libdbd_oracle.so" on Unix environemnt

Symptom

  • When refreshing a Webi report, it throws the following error: com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.CommunicationException$UnexpectedServerException: The following database error occurred: (CS) "DBDriver failed to load : /opt/SAP/BOE41/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/dataAccess/connectionServer/drivers/lib64/libdbd_oracle.so (libodbc.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)" .   • The Webi report is off of a UNV universe and relational connection with ODBC middleware to an Oracle database on a Unix environment.
