2724223 - SAP Cloud Connector - JCO_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Partner signaled an error: Access denied for <BAPI>

Symptom

The backend system is not reachable via RFC from SAP Cloud Platform. The cloud application logged this entry:

com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (102) JCO_ERROR_COMMUNICATION:
Partner signaled an error: Access denied for BAPI_GET_LOCATION on abcdhost.backend.int:sapmsERP.
Expose the function module in your cloud connector in case it was a valid request. (remote system is [ERP|abcdhost|00])
